Kindness on the Seacoast

What a treat to see kindness in action during our Cookies for First Responders event last week!

Alliance volunteer, Ilysse Sirmaian (on the right), delivers cookies to the Rye Fire and Police Departments.

In celebration of Random Acts of Kindness Day, 40 volunteers participated in baking, sorting and/or delivering over 1,200 incredible homemade cookies to 20 different locations!

"I am looking forward to it and even more excited to deliver to my hometown first responders, too!”  - Andrea Kelley, Alliance volunteer

Alliance volunteers sort over 1,200 homemade cookies.

First Responders in Exeter, Greenland, Hampton, Kittery, New Castle, Newington, North Hampton, Portsmouth, and Rye were pleasantly surprised with our volunteers' warm-hearted gestures of appreciation for their dedicated service.

Portsmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Room staff loved receiving two trays of cookies.
